What are the working hours?
We are a full-day educational space. Students can stay at school from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM under the supervision of mentors and teachers.
What is the vacation schedule?
We follow a 5-1 schedule: five weeks of classes followed by one week of vacation. During vacation weeks, we offer a free on-duty group supervised by our mentors.
How many children are in each class?
There are no more than 16 or 20 students per class.
Who are the tutors, and what do they do?
Tutors are the primary older friends for the children. They accompany them during breaks and after-school hours, help resolve conflicts, and always supervise the children. They also organize afternoon activities, including book clubs, film clubs, board games, and other after-school activities.

In grades 0-4, each class has its own mentor.

Additionally, homeroom teachers are assigned to each class, responsible for the academic and organizational aspects of class life.

What do children do during homeroom periods?
Homeroom teachers lead sessions on various relevant topics, tailored to each class level. These might include discussions on boundaries, finances, sex education, health, and many other important and interesting subjects. We also invite parents to speak about their professions, bring in a psychologist, and organize picnics and excursions, ensuring the class enjoys a vibrant team life.
Does the program align with the Federal State Educational Standards (FSES), Cambridge Primary, and IGCSE?
Our program meets the educational outcomes approved by the Federal State Educational Standards (FSES), with an enhanced focus in areas such as languages, mathematics, and natural sciences, depending on the grade level. Additionally, our English-language program aligns with Cambridge Primary and IGCSE standards.
How is the grading system structured?
In grades 1-2, we do not assign grades. From grades 3-4, we gradually introduce them, using a 10-point scale, and three times a year, we send parents detailed academic reports covering skills and each subject, including what was covered, the child’s strengths, and areas to focus on.

Our teachers use diverse teaching approaches and differentiated tasks to ensure each child is in their optimal zone of development. We regularly communicate and share information about effective strategies within the class.
What foreign languages are offered at the school?
From grades 1 to 4, students have four hours of English per week. Starting in grade 5, they have four hours of English plus one hour of another subject taught in English. Language classes are organized by proficiency level rather than by grade.

In addition, Armenian is a mandatory subject. Currently, we follow the "Armenian as a Foreign Language" program, but this summer, we will shift the focus toward more conversational skills, and younger children will learn Armenian through play-based activities.

Students also have the option to study German as an elective course.
What does "bilingualism" mean, and how does it work?
In elementary school, we create an English-speaking environment twice a week, meaning students communicate in English during lessons and beyond.

In middle school, we gradually transition all subjects to English instruction.

Our goal is to prepare students for full English-language instruction in grades 11 and 12 at our school or if they relocate, making learning and communicating in English comfortable and breaking down language barriers.
How is the certification process conducted?
If desired, we register students with a Moscow school (European Gymnasium), allowing them to be officially enrolled there remotely. This means that while attending our school, there is no need to transfer children to homeschooling.

There are no exams for certification; the grades we assign are recorded in their official transcripts.
Is it possible to return to a school in Russia or attend a school abroad after studying at "Liberated school"?
Yes, for Russian schools, we provide a certificate of grade completion and record grades in the official student record. For international schools, we translate the academic report into English, stamp it, and give it to you.
What about the Russian State exams?
Each year, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation issues an order allowing students officially enrolled in Russian schools but residing outside of Russia to receive a diploma based on their yearly grades, without the need to take the OGE or GIA exams. However, since this order is issued annually, we cannot guarantee that this exemption will remain available in the future.

For now, like other educational centers, we offer the option to take the exam, but this may change going forward.
Is there a doctor at the school?
Yes, our school has a doctor who is always on-site and ready to provide assistance. Additionally, our security staff and psychologist are trained to offer support when needed.
What about a psychologist?
Yes, our school has a psychologist who is always on-site and ready to help. Our psychologist also conducts homeroom sessions, offers free consultations and meetings for parents, provides assessments, and organizes group activities to promote bonding for both children and adults.
How do you handle conflict situations?
If a conflict arises in class or we notice any hint of bullying, we immediately step in to work with the class. Thanks to our mentors, we quickly pick up on any conflicts or changes in dynamics.
Depending on the level of conflict, we choose an appropriate resolution method: it could be a conversation with the mentor, child mediation by the psychologist, discussions with the psychologist involving the child and parents, or selecting and implementing a strategy for further action.
What is the tuition fee?
Grades 0-4: 1,800,000 AMD per year
Grades 5-9: 1,950,000 AMD per year

Payment options for tuition:
- Monthly (10 months)
- Trimester-based

An additional one-time enrollment fee equal to one month’s tuition is required upon admission.
Is food included in the tuition fee?
No, food is not included in the tuition fee. The school has a café by GreenPoint, where students can purchase healthy meals. They can also bring their own food and heat it up in the café-dining area. Payment options are flexible — you can pay per meal, weekly, or monthly, whichever is most convenient. Mentors accompany the students during breakfast and lunch.
Are there any tuition discounts at "Liberated school"?
"Liberated school" is a non-profit organization originally established to support relocated families. While it can no longer fulfill a charitable function, "Liberated school" does offer a process for granting tuition discounts to families facing difficult life situations. This process takes place twice a year, in December and May, and involves submitting documents justifying the discount request, which is then reviewed by the organizational committee of "Liberated school"
